The Lodge at Sea Island has been described as ‘an English manor on the ocean.’ It has twice been named the no. 1 hotel in the U.S. by News and World Reports. It’s located on five miles of private beach and has a world class spa, fitness center and beach club. It’s your home for the next five days.
To settle in, guests will enjoy cocktails and a spectacular Southern BBQ, looking out over the Atlantic Ocean. We host a fun 18 hole putting competition as the sun sets, before we all retire to the men’s locker room where big, comfortable leather armchairs and a well-stocked bar await us.
Rated one of the finest in the US, this course is a treasure that boasts real beauty and challenging course architecture. Only available by private invitation, it is one special round of golf.
In the evening you will relax in the luxury of the exclusive private member’s clubhouse. Their nationally acclaimed chef will prepare a bone-in ribeye steak dinner and you will be joined by a familiar PGA tour professional.
Day 3 sees a round of golf on The Seaside Course, located right next to The Lodge. This championship course, along with The Plantation Course, is the home of the PGA Tour’s RSM Classic.
The evening’s entertainment takes you on board the 71 ft yacht ‘Sea Island Explorer’ for a sunset cruise with live music, an open bar and hors d’oeuvres.
The third championship course you’ll play is the Plantation Course. It jointly hosts The RSM with The Seaside Course and provides a great test as your own tournament reaches its climax.
For our final evening we transfer to Rainbow Island for a traditional Southern Low Country Boil with shrimp, oysters, brisket, corn and much more. With a live band for entertainment it’s a perfect background for your awards evening!
